A letter from the founder

A quiet corner,
kept for you.

Effie & Co. began at a kitchen table, with brown paper, twine and far too many books. Every box is still wrapped by hand. One day soon it will be a bookshop with a coffee counter, worn armchairs and a book club on Thursday evenings — until then, we post the feeling to your door.
